Case Studies and
Clients’ Success Stories
No matter what training or behavioural issue you are facing I have the knowledge and experience to help you quickly restore your relationship with your lovely dog.
Here are just a few of my success stories:
Samantha in Grantham called for help with her German Shepherd, Duke. He was a big, strong dog and she couldn’t walk him because of his severe reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. He was actually a fearful dog. By explaining the reasons behind his behaviour and putting in a robust training plan we made huge progress in just one session. He is responding well to their new consistent approach.
Maggie in Oakham was really frustrated with her Golden Retriever, Balloo. He was marking her curtains and using the upstairs bedrooms as a toilet. He didn’t like people coming in the house and wouldn't let them in through the gate or front door. Balloo was a law unto himself but within one session Maggie had gained confidence as she saw her dog listen to her for the first time. Balloo is welcoming guests into the family home and she has now regained control. I am pleased to report that the toileting in the house has also stopped.
Catherine in Loughborough called me in to help her Jack Russell, Teddy who had pulled over their 9 year old son, dislocating his elbow. Using my proven walking to heel positive training techniques we were able to get Teddy walking beautifully so that her son could confidently walk him again. Not only that we worked on Teddy’s strong prey drive as he was chasing their cats and chickens!
Jenny in Melton Mowbray had adopted a dog from Romania- a rescue Mastiff/cross Staffie who was showing very aggressive behaviour to both humans and dogs. Other trainers had refused to work with her and she was unable to leave the house for fear of Skye attacking someone. During our first session I gained Skye's trust and we were able to walk her outside for the first time in many months. Over the next months I continued to work with the family and they are now able to enjoy a normal life with Skye.
David, in Nottingham needed some help with his two lovely Labradors who were pulling on the lead and extremely excitable. He was an older gentleman and really struggling with their bad behaviour. Neither dog listened to him at all, they were virtually wild in their behaviour and family wanted him to give them up. Two training sessions with me resolved the issues and now David and the family are enjoying spending time with the dogs.
